We bought this vehicle with the belief that it would be a solid vehicle that would meet the rigors of driving in the Colorado high country. It has far surpassed our expectations -- in comfort, in gas mileage (18. 5 MPH during mountain driving), and in compelling add-ons. The only negative is the non-flat 3rd seat area.

Bought one couple of days ago. It's fun to drive and but definitely some minor reliability issue. The electronic glove compartment has a mind of its own. It just wont open and other time works fine! I had to take it back to dealorship to fix left turn signal light. According to the mechanic, left tail light bulb was loose. . . Huh! 50K BMW? ? Other then that, beautiful looking car. I prefer it over any other competitor. Engine is smooth and powerful. Love driving it.

Just picked it up a couple days ago and WOW, I'm impressed. I traded a '99 1500 quad cab 4 x 4 for this. I'm not the least bit sorry. The power of the engine is VERY nice. Blows the 5. 2L away. So far no problems to speak of. Took 13 weeks to get though so if your looking for a nice truck with a 4. 10 rear end. Plan on waiting.

Ride and handling for an SUV is excellent, more like a sedan than SUV. Seats, driver and passenger, are the most comfortable of all vehicles I have ever been in. Fuel economy is remarkable (I get better than the claimed 23 MPG on the highway) considering the power is more than adequate. Positive

The minute I sat in this car at the dealership I was sold, I didn't even have to drive it. I love the new refined look of the 2006 model, they made some very sutbtle but nice changes to the exterior. Being in this car is like being in the cockpit of an airplane, and BMW spared no expense when it comes to comfort. This is by far the most comfortable car I have ever had the pleasure of being in. It drives like a dream, smooth yet extremely powerful and quiet. And the features on this car are endless, and so much fun to use. You feel like a king everytime you get in and drive. By far the best car on the market, and in a league of its own. Awesome Job BMW! ! ! !

Traded in my 03 Pathfinder so I could haul my boat. Hauls good, wish I had gone with the 5. 3L towing package. Clunking noise in transmission gets crazy - dealership says Chevy has designed a new slip yolk to rid of this noise (we'll see). Overall a great purchase

Consumer Auto Review
I bought this truck used about 5 months ago with only 19000 miles on it. Best decision I ever made. I live in Ohio and took it to the Outerbanks for family vacation, and the ride was excellent. I average 13-14 city and 17-18 highway. Transmission shifts smoothly and love the rumble sound of the exhaust.
